Close-up, or table magic is an all-involving, intimate piece of theatre, designed to be fun, mystifying and memorable but above all, entertaining. Close Up Magic is magic performed to small groups of people by a magician who carries all he requires on his person and who can move smoothly from one area to another providing an unusual entertainment service.

Because the performer is working to small groups, he is able to totally involve the onlookers in a way that virtually no other form of entertainment can. Many people marvel at seeing magic happen 'right before their eyes' and it is a source of enormous fascination and amusement.

Close-up or table magic is extremely versatile. It can be used at dinners, wedding receptions, private parties and corporate functions providing an ideal icebreaker. It works well in restaurants, hotels and public houses - anywhere, in fact, where people gather together, either formally or informally. It is suitable for a group of virtually any size. It requires no special staging, lighting or venue. It is perfect as a creator of atmosphere and an ideal adjunct to music, dancing or eating.

Cabaret magic is a fun, entertaining show that can be between 20 minutes and one hour. Ideal for audiences numbering from 20 to 200 plus. The cabaret style environment makes it ideal for involving the audience and a few will even get to take part! I guarantee a good time for all!

Whether a large theatre holding a thousand-plus or smaller stage, the magic act can be adapted to suit any situation. Audience participation is a key part and makes for memorable theatre. Any type of stage show such as variety shows and old time music hall are an ideal vehicle for this entertaining and memorable act.
